Training

Training lets you trade with fake SOL on real coins at real prices. Use it to learn the screens, try a coin or test a size. Nothing in Training touches your wallet.

What it is

Training is a mode of the terminal. You buy and sell with the same buttons as a real trade, but the SOL are fake and the orders are never sent to the chain. The coins and their prices are the real ones.

A banner at the top says TRAINING MODE the whole time, so you can never mistake it for real trading.

Turn it on

  1. Sign in to your TMC account. Your fake balance is saved on it.
  2. Open the Your wallet menu in the header.
  3. Pick Training, under 1-Click and Extension. The header chip and the banner show that you are in Training.
  4. Open a coin from Trenches and press a buy amount, as you would for a real trade.

A new account that has not traded yet is offered a Start in Training card. Open Trenches.

What is the same, and what is not

  • Same buttons, amounts, presets and slippage as a real trade, on the real price of the coin.
  • You start with 5 fake SOL, and every order moves them. Portfolio, your positions, History and the PnL counter in the header read your fake balance only.
  • The Training PnL card carries a TRAINING watermark and has no share button.
  • A few real-money tools are greyed out in Training. Hover one to see why.

Your fake balance

  • Get more fake SOL tops you up when you run low. It has limits, and the menu tells you when you can ask again.
  • Reset gives you your 5 fake SOL back and clears your fake positions. It asks you to press twice.

Back to real trading

Pick 1-Click or Extension in the same menu, or press Exit Training in the banner. Your choice is saved on your account, so Training stays on after a reload and on your other devices until you switch it off.

What Training cannot tell you

Fake orders use the real price, but a real order can land at a different price when many traders move at once. Training is practice for the screens. It does not predict what real trading will give.
